The 2022 Can-Am Model Lineup + Our Take on Each Model

In 2021, Can-Am blew past the competition with their quality builds and commitment to client satisfaction. This year, they’ve not only upped the ante by listening to customer feedback and tweaking their models in the direction the crowds have asked – they’re also one of the few companies that experienced a 250 percent sales increase since the first official launch of the Ryker in 2019, despite economical and social restrictions.

This year’s 2022 Lineup shows off the usual two models – the Ryker and the Spyder – with a series of variants to keep the showroom extra-spicy.

We were promised upgrades, and we got them in spades.

Let’s get into it.

2022 Can-Am Ryker

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Ryker

The 2022 Can-Am Ryker leads the charge with a host of upgrades. The 900cc/600cc Rotax engine (your choice), frame, and tyre specs have been kept the same, along with the amazing selection of color options. With the Ryker costing less than $9000 USD, you’re not going to get the cruise control, nor the KYB shocks. That being said, you’re still going to be able to access the CVT transmission (with reverse function), as well as the sweet, sweet beauty of Can-Am’s 900cc engine, complete with the Eco Mode and Sport Mode available with this model.

And hey – you can always trick the machine out on Can-Am’s website, should you decide to do some weekend upgrading of your own.

The 2022 Ryker starts at $8,999 USD, with the price increasing as you build your Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Ryker Rally Edition

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Ryker Rally Edition

This ride is for drivers who want to experience the pedantic rally feeling, without losing out on the comfort that the Ryker is well-known for.

For that, the Can-Am’s 2022 Ryker Rally was made even more rugged and capable of tough terrain. Upgraded vehicle protection comes in the form of a new push bar (for debris), welded arm protection, and air takes with a pre-filter to defend against dust.

The Ryker Rally also comes with upgraded suspension – KYB, HPG front and rear shocks, complete with remote adjusters. Pair that with a gigantic aluminum skid plate, an extra 1.75 inches of clearance in the front and just under and inch in the back, and you’ve got yourself a vehicle worthy of the most remote rock heap.

Other new perks include a new comfy seat, mud flaps, Akropovic exhaust (woohoo!), higher handlebars with grip covers (in case you want to stand), an updated hood, LED lights, and a sweet pair of white Rally rims with adapted all-road tires. Oh, and Can-Am listened to their customers – on top of the ‘Rally Ride mode’ to perform controlled drifts, the machine now has an adjustable windshield and cruise control, as well as a MAX mount at the back for luggage.

Working that engine to the bone? Make sure to take advantage of the discreet lip at the edge of the foot peg, designed to keep your foot steady and to act as a bracing ledge. Can-Am even made the foot peg adjustable to your foot size, to ensure a perfect custom fit for everybody.

The 2022 Ryker Rally starts at $13,499 USD, with the price increasing as you build your Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Ryker Sport Edition

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Ryker Sport Edition

Welcome to the all-new 2022 Can-Am Ryker Sport!

Advertised as ‘an easy ride with the option to bring on a passenger’, the Ryker Sport is essentially the happy middle between the Ryker and the Ryker Rally Edition. Similar to the Rally Edition, the Sport has a MAX mount at the back, should you decide that two isn’t a crowd. The Sport also features five-spoke, tinted and machined tyre rims exclusive to this model.

There are three ride modes with the 900cc engine – Eco Mode, Sport Mode, and of course, the all-new Cruise Control. Can-Am was also very generous in giving KYB front and rear shocks to his variant, with the rear suspension being adjustable.

The 2022 Ryker Sport starts at $11,599 USD, with the price increasing as you build your Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder F3

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3

The 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 is still as gorgeous as ever – from the ‘power-cruiser’ aesthetic, down to the inline-triple Rotax 1330 ACE engine and the vehicle stability control.

The F3 models have also had 50% of the available color options updated, to allow for a bit more variety in the garage.

This base model includes multiple color choices (as long as your favorite color is black), along with the addition of Can-Am’s Vehicle Stability System (VSS) and Eco Mode for optimal driving.

The Spyder F3 also has a very nice set of shocks (SACHS for both the front and the rear), as well as Can-Am’s ‘UFit System’ (Move the foot pegs and handlebar where you want, and everything locks nicely in place).

Complete the package with Front fenders with integrated LED lights, a 4.5″ (11.4 cm) wide digital gauge, and 6.5 gal (24.4 L) storage capacity, and we’ve practically got your next trip planned.

The 2022 Spyder F3 starts at $17,999 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-S

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-S

Like the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 base model, the F3-S has all the basic specs, plus a little extra.

This model has updated Gas-charged KYB front shocks, along with the addition of Sport mode for optimal fun when taking turns on those twisties you’ve been dreaming about. The F3-S was also given a bit of visual pep in the form of octane blue accents in the exposed framing.

With the updates of 2022 comes the very welcome addition of Cruise Control to this model, and the ability to see everything via Can-Am’s 7.6″ (19.3 cm) wide digital gauge.

As for storage, it’s the same as the base model – 6.5 gal (24.4 L) capacity, with the potential to trick your ride out with Can-Am’s long list of accessories.

The 2022 Spyder F3-S starts at $19,499 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-S Special Series

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Special Series

Welcome to Can-Am’s coolest cat – the 2022 Spyder F3-S Special Series, identifiable by the lickable “Manta Green”…and a few other features.

We’ve been told that this model has all the F3-S specs plus a bit extra. Not only is the Special Series (SS) fitted with the BRP-connectivity and KYB rear shock of the F3-S, there is also the potential for a passenger to hike themselves into the saddle for a ride, though you’ll have to install the included seat in your own time.

Of course, with the SS Edition we have the addition of the Super Sport Grille, a gauge spoiler and a mono seat cowl, with a thick edge to cushion the lower back.

New upgrades for 2022 include comfier handles, a new backrest for the driver, and a cushy seat for the caboose. Oh, and we’ve now got 115 pretty ponies under the hood to play with – yes, please.

A word to the sport enthusiasts: The SS edition has a special package that comes pre-equipped with a handful of accessories. Contact Can-Am for more information!

The 2022 Spyder F3 Special Series starts at $20,499 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-T

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-T

If you’re looking for a comfy ride that can manage boatloads of luggage space and still get you from point A to point B within a decent tank of gas, the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-T is the beastie for you. On top of the semi-automatic Rotax® 1330 cc engine, Vehicle Stability System and BRP-connectivity complete with Audio 4-speaker sound system and audio control keypad, Can-Am has also blessed the Spyder F3-T with a brilliant 21 gal (78 L) of storage capacity, managed via the saddlebags and glove box.

The F3-T can even tow up to 400lb. / 181 kg. capacity – a great feature, should that one week vacation turn into two.

Naturally, the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3-T was also given cruise control – a feature requested by customers country-wide, and a welcome addition to this touring treat.

The 2022 Spyder F3-T starts at $21,999 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited

Can Am’s 2022 Spyder F3 Limited is a souped-up version of the F3-T. While the F3-T was limited to 21 gal (78 L) of storage capacity, thanks to a top rack, the F3 Limited can manage a mind-boggling 36.5 gal (138 L) storage capacity. This, combined with the integrated passenger backrest, makes for a smooth, comfortable evening cruise.

The F3 Limited also comes with the luxuries of heated grips, UFit footboards, cruise control, and a BRP Audio 6-speaker sound system controllable by audio keypad.

Add this to the cleverness of self-leveling air suspension for added ease and comfort, and you’ll be cruising in style, for as long as needed.

The Spyder F3 Limited comes in four colors, and sports Dark or chrome trims (depending on color choice)

The 2022 Spyder F3 Limited starts at $24,999 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited Special Series

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited Special Series

On the far end of the Spyder spectrum is Can-Am’s all new 2022 party vehicle – the candy-red, limited edition of editions.

The 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited Special Series (LSS) has a list of features as long as its name. On top of having everything that has been installed into the Spyder F3 Limited Edition, the 2022 LSS now has a top case rack, a super sport grille and brand spanking new 12-spoke wheels sitting on the SACHS front an drear shocks.

A heads up – this tour-friendly giant is meant to be the easy-breezy model of the showroom, so this is not a model that comes with the more hardcore KYB suspension, nor the Sport Mode.

That being said, the cushy comfort seat, detachable rider backrest, short-reach handlebar and auxiliary lights add to the luxury.

The 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited Special Series (LSS) starts at $27,499 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder RT

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder RT

Can-Am’s 2022 Spyder RT is the official beastie recommended by the company for long rides – and with good reason too. On top of the beautiful Rotax 1,330cc engine, 6-speed semi-automatic transmission, Can-Am has given the Spyder RT front storage, a six-speaker audio system, an adjustable windshield that reverts to your preferred position when on the road, and a 7” gauge with BRP Connectivity for drivers’ devices, on top of cruise control, heated grips for the driver, and chonky floorboards to ensure that both driver and passenger feel comfy.

And just in case you were thinking to do a bit of shopping in town, Can-Am has given the Spyrder RT the potential to extend the integrated storage at the back via LinQ compatibility. Nifty.

The 2022 Spyder RT starts at $23,899 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited

The 2022 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited features all the base specs of the original RT edition, plus a couple of additional perks.

First off, the RT Limited has up to seven different color schemes, with your choice of dark or chrome trims, depending on the model. It’s also been outfitted with an increase in storage capacity (47 gal/177L, to be exact), with a LinQ-compatible top case.

Directly in front of that storage capacity is the integrated back rest for your well-behaved passenger of choice, sitting atop a very pretty self-leveling suspension (like the F3 Limited) for up-to-date comfort that adjusts automatically.

Can-Am also threw in heated grips for both driver and passenger, as well as heated seats.

Round it all up with a BRP-connective Audio Premium 6-speaker sound system,

LED lights, and a front cargo light, and you’re ready to rock.

The 2022 Spyder RT Limited starts at $27,499 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

2022 Can-Am Spyder RT Sea-To-Sky

A view of the 2022 Can-Am Spyder RT Sea-To-Sky

The 2022 Can-Am Spyder RT Sea-To-Sky Edition is inspired by the rugged topography of British Columbia. As such, the color scheme remains loyal to earth tones, changing from 2021’s green to a ‘mystery blue’, with silver trim and a fully-painted top case.

We’ve also got all the features of the 2022 Spyder RT-Limited, with a few surprises.

Can-Am connected the color scheme of the Sea-To-Sky with a beautiful set of 12-spoke silver-colored wheels complete with satin finish.

Add to this an adjustable driver’s backrest, memory foam seats with lumbar support and custom Sea-to-Sky embroidery, Adjustable side wind deflectors, and a swanky colored rear panel (in the event you’re not using the top cases), and you’ve got yourself a beautifully matchy-matchy beastie with the pep to get you practically anywhere in style.

(Stick to the roads though – if you’re hankering to get off-road, we recommend the 2022 Can-Am Ryker Rally Edition for that.)

The 2022 Spyder RT Sea-To-Sky Edition starts at $29,999 USD, with the price increasing as you build your ideal Can-Am on their website.

  1. I have a 2022 Can Am Spyder RT Limited on order since October, can you tell me when it will be delivered?

  2. Frustrated here since Can-Am gives all the 2022 model info but as of this date (4/30/2022), still cannot deliver. They shipped the bike with missing parts, and there is no timeline for delivery of those key components, making it a worthless product for now.

  3. Do anyone Spyder F3 Limited Monolith Black came out mixed with matte black and shiny black. The picture on Cam Am show all matte black but the one they trying to deliver to me look nothing like the picture. It has shiny black fender, the back cargo is shiny black on top and matte black on bottom. The grill is shiny black and the rims are shiny black but the picture shows all Matte black. This doesn’t make since to mix match the colors but when ordering it’s all matte black. Please help me understand what’s going on?

  4. I ordered a cam in a spider at 3 and I feel like I am being scammed by a company called Dailey’s sale.com I have pictures of my order numbers transaction numbers Bank numbers I am also missing a generator that they have not sent me that I have all the same information for I need to know who I can contact to get this resolved with the F3 Spyder

  5. Very good reviews. Short and concise. I do not own one as of yet but would like one, one day. Thank you for this. As a disabled veteran, I appreciate how easy these bikes appear to ride. I have a friend who owns one and I hear his raves about it.
