The 2023 Moto Guzzi V9 Comes Up In The Middle Of The Guzzi Pack

The Moto Guzzi V9 is another of those names among Guzzi’s ranks that just looks like it belongs. The V9 takes everything great about the V7 and just brings it up to another level. 2023’s offerings are fairly slim pickings for the bobber-styled bike, but a new special edition model is available for purchase.

The Italian-engineered V9 uses the same 853cc V-Twin that can be found in the Moto Guzzi V7. Featuring air cooling, this double-cylinder powerplant produces a claimed 65 hp and 53.8 lb-ft of torque. Weighing in at about 463 lbs fully loaded, this bike may not be breaking any speed records, but that isn’t really the point, is it?

The V9 features blacked-out bobber styling, with an array of modern features mixed into a classic shell.  Like the V7, Suspension is provided by an unadjustable front fork and twin sidearm-mounted shocks with preload adjustment. LED lighting is standard all around, and an LCD display helps to bring this retro-styled ride into modern times. ABS is standard, as is traction control.

Both variations of the V9 are only available in one colour each – Nero Essenziale for the standard Bobber and Workshop Twin Tone for the Special Edition. The special also receive a handful of upgrades, including bar end mirrors and a shorter front mudguard. Overall the differences are relatively limited, but the Special Edition does feature a touch of extra charm.

The 2023 Moto Guzzi V9 is not currently listed as available for purchase in Canada in any configuration.

The 2023 Moto Guzzi V9 starts at $10,490 USD/ $n/a CAD
