2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR [Model Overview]

2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR

2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR: The Streetfighter

If the Brutale lineup of motorcycles closely resembles what we have come to perceive to be a “naked motorcycle”, then the Dragster toes the line closer to “streetfighter” when you boil it all down. The 2021 Dragster RR is the middle ground of the Dragster family when it comes to the 2021 lineup. The RR version gives you full power from the 798cc inline-three engine, unlike the detuned Rosso.

The Dragster is aggressive and far sharper than its close Brutale relatives. The motorcycles are still pretty similar and share much of the same DNA when it comes down to brass taxes, though. The rims on this bike have been swapped out for some beautiful wire-spoke wheels, but much of the tech remains the same across the entire Italian manufacturer’s lineup.

You can expect MV Agusta’s 8-level adjustable traction control, updated ride-by-wire technology, Bosch ABS and all the other little electronic quirks found on all MV Agusta models such as rear-wheel lift-up mitigation. You really aren’t sacrificing any features or performance when getting onto a Dragster 800 RR.

The 2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR starts at $23,440 USD / $18,490 EUR.

2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Features

UNRIVALLED ELECTRONICS

From the dashboard to the ABS, taking in the controls and the firmware of the control unit: the electronics on the new Dragster RR have taken a huge step forward in quality, thanks in part to the arrival of the new IMU inertial platform, which reads the spatial positioning of the motorcycle and enables traction controls to be managed with great sensitivity based on the lean angle.

TECHNOLOGY AND THRILLS

The weight distribution, the refined chassis and suspension as well as the Dragster’s unique character are the main characteristics of a machine that was created for the most demanding riding enthusiasts.

Increased riding pleasure

When you can concentrate purely on riding, you automatically increase the fun. And when safety is covered by a Continental ABS system with cornering function and Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation, there’s nothing to worry about. The system mitigates the pressure exerted on the front brake to avoid rear-wheel lift.
