2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS [Specs, Features, Photos]

2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS

The 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS Makes Beastly Power Inclusive

The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS is a new variant within the brand’s 2022 catalog of the brand’s most ‘brutal’ family. It’s based on the Brutale 1000 RR but with a more accessible approach for all users while maintaining a very high level of refinement and performance. For instance, the 4-cylinder engine remains intact, with radial valves and components made of exclusive materials that reduce friction.

In the front, MV Agusta replaced the RR’s advanced electronic Öhlins package with an inverted Marzocchi, while the rear axle has a progressive Sachs monoshock absorber. Both front and rear suspensions feature manual preload, rebound, and compression adjustment. It’s worth highlighting that this new Italian motorcycle keeps the manually adjusted Öhlins steering damper. The chassis is the same as the RR’s, with a few adjustments to enhance its versatility. The mirrors are also specific to improve visibility.

The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS improves the comfort with a new, more comfortable one-piece seat with softer padding. In addition, the semi-handlebars are higher and raise the driving position. Overall, the Brutale RS is a more versatile bike.

The IMU inertial unit gets data through which the rest of the assists can do their job more effectively, such as the anti-wheelie or the cornering ABS managed by the Continental MK100 unit.

The 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS starts at $25,800 USD / $43,264 CAD

One of the most prized aspects of the Brutale 1000 RS is the usability of the rider interface, which boasts a 5.5” TFT screen, intuitive electronic controls and, most importantly, the MV Ride app. The app allows you to adjust numerous electronic parameters according to the usage conditions and rider preferences. Not to mention the navigation features and the ability to save your journeys, which can then be shared on social media.
