Bike Of The Day: 2010 Ducat 848 Track Bike

This extensively modified Ducati 848 has undergone significant enhancements to elevate its performance on the track. Originally white, this 848 model has undergone a complete transformation with a full carbon-fibre body conversion and a carbon-fibre cover for the fuel tank.

Mounted on a set of 17-inch wheels, the bike is fitted with 160mm Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tires that provide optimal grip. Notably, the motorcycle boasts a ‘through structure’ crash guard system, accompanied by an array of hardware upgrades such as race grips, adjustable folding levers, and anodized liquid closures made from aluminum.

The heart of the bike is a replaced 848cc Desmodromic DOHC L-twin engine, which is seamlessly mated to a six-speed gearbox equipped with a HealTech iQSE-1 electronic quick shifter. The powerplant has been further enhanced by the addition of a carbon-fibre Termignoni exhaust and an upgraded ECU.
