From the heart of Italy, MV Agusta has once again delivered an impressive display of craftsmanship and engineering prowess with the SuperVeloce. Packed with power, advanced technology, and exquisite design, this bike not only meets expectations but soars beyond them. Italian motorcycles are known for their style and MV’s continued use of the single sided swingarm and sculpted bodywork reinforces that.

Powering this masterpiece is a 798 cc, three-cylinder, four-stroke, 12-valve engine putting out 147 horsepower. The SuperVeloce manages to keep this energy in check with an advanced ignition – injection system. It’s equipped with the second generation of the Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS 2.1), which provides excellent control with six injectors and a full ride-by-wire throttle body. This bike is smart, with ion-sensing technology to monitor and control detonation and misfire, four maps for torque control, and an impressive eight levels of traction control intervention

Also found on other bikes in MV Agusta’s 2023 lineup is a wet, multi-disc slipper clutch and a six-speed, constant mesh transmission, providing smooth gear shifts and a seamless riding experience. To top it off, the SuperVeloce also comes with an Electronically Assisted Shift Up & Down feature (MV EAS 3.0) for a lightning-quick shifting experience

Containing all this power and performance is an ALS Steel tubular trellis frame that provides the necessary rigidity and lightness to enhance handling and control. The bike also features aluminum alloy swing arm pivot plates and a single-sided swing arm made of the same material. The SuperVeloce is equipped with Marzocchi upside down forks at the front and a Progressive Sachs single shock absorber at the rear.

For braking, the SuperVeloce features a double floating disc with a 12.6-inch diameter at the front and a single steel disc with an 8.66-inch diameter at the rear. Both front and rear brakes use Brembo calipers, ensuring impressive stopping power and control. The bike also includes a Continental MK100 ABS system with Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation and a cornering function, enhancing safety and confidence during spirited rides while the Pirelli Corsa tires keep you stuck to the tarmac.

2023 MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Features

Sport, Race, Rain, Custom: four modes and as many interpretations of a character that is always bold, but can adapt to a rider’s preferences and the type of road. In addition to three pre-set maps, one is fully customisable.

While the exterior of the Superveloce boasts a very classic design, the fairings conceal the most contemporary technological equipment, all condensed into just 173 kg of weight. From the EAS 3.0 quick shift to the advanced inertial platform.

The braking system now makes use of prestigious Brembo Stylema M4.30 callipers, which allow for a weight reduction of 300 grams while upping the braking power. The rear brake has also been updated to increase feeling and ease of use.
