The 2020 Triumph Tiger 800 XC models are the kind of bikes you would probably want to have if you wanted to do a multiple day trip across some unfriendly landscapes. As with all submodels of the Tiger 800 model line, these bikes share the same 800cc DOHC liquid-cooled inline triple that produces 95 HP and 58 lbs-ft of torque, passing through a 6-speed transmission.
The Tiger 800 XCx is the base model here, with a slew of features designed to devour landscapes. WP front and rear shocks are fully adjustable, the ergonomics are adjustable to make the bike fit perfectly, and a 5 inch TFT gets you the information you need on the spot. LED daytime running lights keep you visible, and adding to the safety are off-road rated Brembo premium brakes. Built in handguards, an aluminum sump guard, and a radiator guard are also standard.
The Tiger 800 XCa is the uprated model, which has all the features of the XCx, but adds on LED lighting all around, 6 different dash modes for the TFT, heated grips and seats, a center stand, and a user customizable sixth riding mode for the mode selector switch.
