Kawasaki Australia has recalled their baby adventurer, the Versys-X 300 over a possibility the rear tail/brake light bulb could fall out.
Apparently the globe socket assembly can become loose, especially if the adventure bike is used on rough roads.
You can check whether your bike is affected by scanning the VIN number list attached to the end of this article.
Otherwise, Kawasaki Motors Australia will contact owners who are asked to take their bike to an authorised Kawasaki dealer for free replacement of the tail/brake light globe socket.

Recall notices are issued by the manufacturer through a voluntary industry code under the ACCC.
Despite hundreds of recalls by various automotive manufacturers, only a handful have been mandatory. All others have been issued by the manufacturer.
While any recall is not good news for the manufacturer, it shows that they are largely diligent in fixing problems.
If you believe there is an endemic problem with your bike that should be recalled, contact the ACCC on 1300 302 502.
