The 2023 Zero DS is ready to redefine your biking experience. Powering the Zero DS lies the Z-Force® 75-5 passively air-cooled, high efficiency, radial flux, interior permanent magnet, brushless motor which is used by multiple models in Zero’s 2023 lineup. This model delivers a smooth power output of up to 46 horsepower at 4,300 RPM, with a peak torque of 78 foot-pounds.

The American-made Zero DS doesn’t just pack a punch with power. Its unique Z-Force® Li-Ion intelligent integrated power pack, with a maximum capacity of 7.2 kWh, ensures a riding experience that lasts up to 82 miles of city riding, 61 miles at a combined highway speed of 55 mph, and 53 miles at a combined highway speed of 70 mph. And when you do need to recharge, the DS’s charging system is as easy as plugging into a household outlet. In fact, you can charge up to 6 times faster with the optional Charge Tank, compatible with Level 2 charging stations

The chassis and suspension are also impressive. The twin-spar aircraft-grade aluminum chassis offers superior torsional rigidity. Combine this with Showa’s 41 mm inverted cartridge forks at the front and a 40 mm piston, piggy-back reservoir shock at the rear, you’ll have a ride that’s smooth, comfortable, and responsive

The Zero brand doesn’t compromise on the technology front either. The full-color display gives you all the information you need right at your fingertips. Speed, state of charge, power output, and selected riding mode are all there on the dash, with the added bonus of syncing to your smartphone for a more personalized experience.

The Zero DSR is pre-programmed with Eco or Sport modes and performance can be fully customized using the Zero Motorcycles app where you can also see detailed ride stats.

Grab lunch. Have a coffee. Recharge. Live your life while adding up to 94 miles of range for every hour you’re plugged in. The Charge Tank option is compatible with Level 2 charge stations and delivers roughly 6x faster charging than when compared to a standard wall outlet. Depending on the battery, a typical recharge can now take as little as an hour.

No special equipment required: your standard household outlets can be used as fueling stations for a fraction of the cost of gasoline. Plug in at night and start the day with a full tank.

The Zero DSR comes equipped with a full color display to project the specs you need: speed, state of charge, power output, selected riding mode and more. Sync with your smartphone to customize the information that is displayed on your dash.

No additional charging equipment required. The standard 1.3 kW onboard charger plugs into any household outlet. It can be operated in conjunction with the off-board Quick Charger accessory and/or the Charge Tank option to accelerate charge times.

The standard Zero DSR “tank” is equipped with spacious lockable storage—perfect for stowing personal items like cell phones, wallets, or gloves. Interested in faster charging or greater range? Swap the standard tank for the Charge Tank option for 6x faster charging or the Power Tank accessory that adds an additional 3.6 kWh of battery.

The Bosch anti-lock brake system (ABS) delivers confident braking. Tested for just about any situation you can imagine, the system optimizes deceleration when you hit your brakes hard. Braking is actuated via levers that can be adjusted for improved ergonomics. ABS can be switched on or off by the rider.
