Our Comments

Motorex Chain Lube 622 Strong is one of several Motorex chain lube products in the Swiss company’s lineup

Those include Chain Lube 622 and Chain Lube Racing and each type has apparently been developed for a specific use.

Our can did not include a spray tube; the lube comes out of the spray top in a normal pattern.

The lube is white in color, but is very light weight and it is reminiscent of a white lithium grease.

It’s very hard to determine the efficacy of chain lube; this one seems to work as well as others, but it’s up to the owner as to whether they feel better seeing a heavy deposit of chain lube on the chain, with a product like Bel-Ray Super Clean.

One nice feature of the Motorex Chain Lube 622 Strong is its price, which is about 30% less than some of its competitors.

The consensus lately is that owners over-use chain lube and that only a very light coat is needed with modern O-ring and X-ring chains.

It should be sprayed on the inner run of the chain so that it works its way outward as the chain revolves at speed.
