Good things come in small packages! This is the 2020 Honda CRF50F, the smallest motorcycle in Honda’s off-road range. It’s small in size, but big in character. Built on top of the foundations of the legendary Z50 of old and enhanced with modern CRF DNA, the CRF50F is the ultimate first motorcycle for future champions.
Equipped with a compact but potent 49cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine, the CRF50F offers a maximum power output of 3.1 horsepower, which is enough for young riders to learn the basics of riding but in a careful and controlled way. Plus, the CRF50F is equipped with a throttle limiter, restricting power for over-zealous riders.
The CRF50F features a semi-automatic three-speed gearbox, allowing riders to learn the fundamentals of gear shifting without having to worry about a clutch or the prospect of stalling. The automatic clutch along with the manageable overall weight of 110 lbs, and low seat height, make this a great option for new riders. It’s a confidence-building motorcycle that will prep young riders well for a future on two wheels.
For 2020, the Honda CRF50F is available in Red.
