2022 Yamaha V-Star 250: Traditional Japanese Styling In an Easy-to-Ride Package
Contents
With today’s motorcycle cruiser models such as Yamaha’s Bolt taking a more modern hot-rod approach to the ‘classic Japanese motorcycle look’, the V Star 250 keeps it more traditional than a plain black leather jacket on a hot day.
Thanks to its very low seat height, the V-Star 250 makes for a perfect first bike when taking its extremely cost-effective price tag into consideration. Not to mention, it’s light as hell, maneuverable, easy to maintain, and extremely fuel-efficient.
This bike is so traditional that Yamaha hasn’t even ditched its carburated engine. Fuel injection? Nah. This 249cc 60-degree air-cooled V-Twin relies on a carburetor to get the perfect air/fuel mixture making it the only motorcycle in Yamaha’s 2022 lineup that still features a carburated engine. This feature alone single-handedly takes this model to holy-grail status in terms of reliability and ‘classic-cool factor’.
The V-Star 250 looks great and comes at a very low cost. What more can you ask for?
