  • The “500” graphic on the side of the seat was white
  • The wheels were machined finish with black spokes
  • The seat and front legs were black
  • The front fender was white
  • The 4-into-2 exhaust system was black chrome
  • The engine was a 498cc DOHC 4-valve liquid cooled V-4 linked to a 6 speed transmission
  • The serial number began JH2PC120*FM100001

1986 VF500F’86 500 Interceptor

  • It came in only one color scheme: Fighting Red with Shasta White and Candy Blue
  • The seat, front fender, and fork legs were red
  • The wheels were solid black
  • The 4-into-2 exhaust system was black chrome
  • The engine was a 498cc DOHC 4-valve liquid cooled V-4 linked to a 6 speed transmission.
