Bike Of The Day: 1985 BMW K100RT ‘Cafe Racer’

This K100RT is a delightful illustration of a sport touring motorcycle from the 1980s, with several modifications typical of a “cafe racer” style. Its customized bodywork comes complete with new instruments and lights, plus a Devil exhaust system equipped with a detachable sleeve. It has also undergone a refinishing process by Black Shuck Kustom, now sporting a Graphite color scheme highlighted by red accents, and a black leather seat with red stitching.

Featuring a longitudinally mounted 1,171cc four-cylinder “Flying Brick” engine, the K100 was the last BMW motorcycle to utilize this powertrain configuration. It generates 130 horsepower and 86 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission.
