2022 Moto Guzzi V85 TT E5 [Specs, Features, Photos]

2022 Moto Guzzi V85 TT E5

2022 Moto Guzzi V85 TT E5: The Italian Swiss-Army Knife

For ADV enthusiasts looking for a capable Italian “go-anywhere” package with graceful styling and a robust catalog of features; look no further. The Moto Guzzi V85 TT is here for their 2022 lineup and it comes in an exhausting array of versions depending on what accessories you would like to see included at the dealership.

The V85 TT is a capable ADV motorcycle designed with going anywhere in mind. The 853cc transverse mounted 90° V-twin is compact and allows for the model to retain a comfortable level of agility whilst still having the ability to throw down all 80 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of torque when needed. This makes it perfect for both on-road and off-road excursions as you won’t be hindered on highways and it also won’t be too heavy when tearing up the trails.

The V85 TT comes in four variations (Guardia d’Onore, Adventure, Travel, and Standard), with the only difference being the accessories added or subtracted depending on which version you come off the lot with.

The V85 TT E5 is the standard version, but as you go up the ladder of prestige through the V85 lineup; more accessories like aluminum side cases, bigger windscreens, accessory lighting, and paint options become available.

Regardless of what version you settle on, all models will come complete with spoked rims, a 23L tank (with 5L reserved), and Stainless steel disks in the front and rear. A full TFT display, LED lighting, 5 riding modes, sump guard, and double channel ABS all come standard across all models.

The 2022 Moto Guzzi V85 TT E5 starts at $11,990 USD / $13,990 CAD

2022 Moto Guzzi V85 TT E5 Features

A bike for living, not simply riding

Sleek, practical and sporting the famous Moto Guzzi style, the V85 TT is the perfect companion, whether we’re talking about every day commuting or intrepid adventures. There’s no compromising on comfort and performance, and this is something not to be sneezed at in a market that is becoming increasingly cookie-cutter. The V85 TT has certainly delivered on its ambition to combine iconic design with all the bells and whistles of a modern enduro touring bike, and definitely earns the title of First and Only in Class when it comes to a classic enduro.

Distance poses no problem

The V85 TT TRAVEL includes all the tech updates of its V85 TT sibling. It comes with all the features that you’ll need on a long trip, such as the Touring windshield, Urban series side panniers with increased capacity and reduced bulk, LED auxiliary lights, adjustable heated handgrips and last, but not least, the Moto Guzzi MIA multimedia platform available as an extra.

Looks that pack a punch

The color range of the Moto Guzzi V85 TT is more eyecatching than ever with the addition of Verde Altaj, the iconic green of the House of the Eagle. It joins Nero Etna black, Giallo Mojave yellow and striking red Rosso Uluru to create a palette of bold, no-nonsense tones.

Electronic Systems

If three riding modes weren’t enough, the V85 TT now boasts another two, making it easier than ever to manage traction, ABS and pick-up via the Ride-by-Wire handlebar control. Cruise control and a color TFT instrument panel come as standard, while the accessories catalogue is packed full of extras such as Moto Guzzi MIA, the multimedia platform that connects your smartphone and bike to create a fantastic suite of functions.

Wheels

The spoked rims now house tubeless tires, reducing the unsprung weight by around 3.3 lbs and taking the riding dynamics up yet another notch.

Engine

You don’t change a winning formula, so of course the engine is the typical Moto Guzzi air-cooled transverse 90° V twin-cylinder engine with OHV distribution and two valves per cylinder. In proud Mandello eagle tradition, there’s no resting on laurels, however, so we have extra torque in low and medium speeds and a revamped electronic engine control system.
