The Ducati Monster Tour Gets Underway
The Monster 696 is blazing a trail to the most beautiful settings in Italy and abroad

10 April 2008 – In the same days of the arriving at worldwide European Ducati Stores, Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. is pleased to announce the start of the Ducati Monster Tour, a real, live road show, departing from Borgo Panigale, that will give all its followers the opportunity to try out the brand new Monster 696 in their own city centers.

A large truck, measuring about 14 meters with three floors and a hospitality section, will be decked out especially for this project and parked up in various city locations.

A hospitality area will be set up to provide refreshments to all those taking part in the test rides; there will also be another space dedicated to Ducati gear, in particular the new 2008 collection.  Every date on the tour will also involve the participation and support of local dealers.

Anyone who is interested in a Ducat Monster Tour can apply in person at the truck, by registering their name (they must submit their driving license, which is also used as proof that the applicant is over 18).

The participants will then be divided into small groups and escorted on a 30-minute city ride by two official Ducati testers.  Every single round of the Ducati Monster Tour will be supported by the local dealer, which collaborate organizing the event.

Two special Monster Tours will set off on Saturday 12th April – one in Italy, taking in the most breathtaking cities in the country, and the other making its way through various European cities.

Launched last November 2007, at the EICMA Show in Milan, the Monster 696 has been immediately a big success in between public and international press, and after few months, the bike is already at Ducati Stores.
