The 2021 FREY E-Bike Lineup + Our Take On Each Model

You won’t find Frey bike models in shops or big box stores as they are a direct-to-consumer company. Frey is based out of Jinhua, China, and provides potential customers with e-bikes that have high build quality, modern frame geometry at a fraction of the price of “big-brand” names. They are able to do this by cutting out the middleman and selling directly to the customer.

Frey has seven models across the brand and is mostly focused on providing a variety of mountain bikes. These models range from commuter-style to full-on enduro insanity.

Frey has focused on using name-brand components and keeping the bike’s geometry modern. In fact, Frey states on their website “FREY designs and builds eBikes consumers want. If you have design ideas feel free to contact us, we will turn it into reality!”. This statement says a lot about a company, even if it can take months to arrive on your doorstep – Frey is worth the wait.
