Legacy GTX Jacket
Technically speaking, the Cayenne Pro then comes next in
the hierarchy of Rev'it jackets, followed by the Sand
jacket we reviewed in 2010. After that comes the
new Legacy GTX jacket and pants.
The Legacy GTX is designed for riders in milder climates, such as
Northern Europe, Northern, Northeast and
Northwest U.S.A., Canada, Russia and other areas with
milder summers. The 750 denier Teflon
coated shell features 1000 denier rip-stop Cordura on
the shoulders.
The Legacy GTX includes a free-floating Gore-Tex "Z Liner" bonded to the
inside but with a space between the jacket shell and the
liner. Thus, the Gore-Tex shell is not removable
in the Legacy GTX, and the vents that open in the front
and rear of the jacket allow air to pass over and around the
bonded liner, which ventilates the rider by evaporation
coming through the breathable
membrane.
The non-removable liner provides a lower-cost Rev'it
GTX waterproof jacket option for riders in climates that
don't normally have longer periods of extremely hot or
humid weather, but the Legacy GTX includes many of the
technical features included in the rest of the Rev'it
GTX line.
The Legacy GTX also features Pro-Life CE-approved
armor and a detachable thermal liner (not Exkin).
The jacket is available in all black, black with silver
accents or black with red accents.

The Rev'it Legacy GTX jacket comes in black,
black/silver (L) and black/red (R).

Genuine 3M Scotchlite reflective material is laminated
to the upper chest and arms. The stripes indicate
GTX.
