Sena Nexx X-COM and SX-COM Bluetooth Intercom

outdoor activities market, today announced their recent partnership with Nexx Helmets to create the all-new X-COM and SX-COM Bluetooth communication devices.

Both of the all-new units have been designed to be compatible with multiple Nexx Helmets including the new SWITX SX.10.

Sena also announced today the Sena Universal Intercom (report) and the Sena H-Talk Intercom for HJC Helmets (report).

The all-new X-COM and SX-COM are officially being launched at the 71st International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA), in Milan, Italy, November 7-10, 2013.

The X-COM has been developed to be specially integrated into the side of Nexx’s SWITX SX.10 while the SX-COM can be easily installed into the special inner cavity.

Both of the new units are easy to use and provide all the features and performance capabilities of Sena’s current products including the ability to make hands-free mobile phone calls, listen to stereo music or voice instructions of GPS navigations by Bluetooth wirelessly, and have intercom conversations in full duplex with other riders or passengers.

The XCOM and SX-COM Bluetooth communication devices will be available through Nexx Helmets and their dealer network beginning February 2014.

The all-new X-COM features the latest Bluetooth v3.0 technology and is specifically designed for motorcycle riders who prefer smaller units that help maximize riding performance but still offer the same features of all of Sena’s products.

The X-COM has been designed to be integrated into the helmet to create a harmony with the
helmet design and reduce the appearance of the headset on the helmet.

With the latest Bluetooth technology and advanced digital signal processing technology from Sena, the X-COM offers the best sound quality for both incoming and outgoing sound in its class.

The all-new X-COM allows riders to call hands free on Bluetooth mobile phone, listen to stereo music or voice instructions of GPS navigations by Bluetooth wirelessly, and have intercom conversations in full duplex with other riders.

Also being released is the all-new SX-COM, which will be sold as an optional extra from Nexx Helmets and will be a complete system with Bluetooth v3.0 technology and features voice commands, stereo music streaming and upgradeable firmware.

The SX-COM has also been designed for easy installation by using Velcro to install in the specially designed inner cavity of the new SWITX SX.10 helmet. The SX-COM is also compatible with additional motorcycle helmet brands and can work in conjunction with all of the products offered by Sena Bluetooth.
