This cafe racer has been our shop project for the second half of 2012 progressing when we have time and sitting when we are busy. The original gas tank, both fenders, the side covers, the seat and air box were scrapped and re-done to fit a modern cafe racer theme and incorporate the “holey metal” into the design of our take on a Bonneville tank. The tank has inset sides over which panels of hole metal float to hopefully create a fun illusion.
