Stock Ducati V4R Takes On Tuned Cars In A Drag Race

In a drag race, power isn’t the sole determining factor, as proven in this video featuring a tuned BMW M5 Competition, a heavily modified Nissan GT-R, and the high-performance Ducati Panigale V4R.

The BMW M5 Competition is equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Power is transmitted through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The Nissan GT-R, originally equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine, has undergone extensive modifications. It utilizes a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox to transfer power to the wheels.

Weighing 425 pounds (193 kilograms) with a rider, the Ducati Panigale V4R holds the title of the fastest Ducati. In comparison, the BMW M5 weighs 4,299 pounds (1,950 kilograms), while the GT-R, despite significant upgrades, is lighter at 3,968 pounds (1,800 kilograms), shaving off 331 pounds (150 kilograms) compared to the BMW.

Carwow organized a drag race to put all three vehicles to the test and see which one is the fastest in a straight-line race.
