Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Note to the "More is Better" Crowd: Your Bike Has Arrived.

Kawasaki Ninja

October 16, 2014 – Kawasaki went the subtle route with the H2R intro.

No big showy presentations and still not a lot of info on this monster.

The engine is supercharged with 296HP, which pretty much says it all.

It has Rain, Sport and Race modes; optional Slick and User modes with Dynamic Traction Control (7 stages and lean angle sensor); ASC with lean angle sensor standard and ABS.

I guess the bike speaks for itself? Let’s hope the miracle of modern electronics can tame this beast, but it’s surely not for the light-hearted.

But then again, that’s what Kawasaki used to be all about. I remember the first time I saw a Kawasaki Mach III

I’m wondering if the H2R will be a very limited edition, made just to bring some of that 500 Triple magic to the brand.

It’s actually hard to distinguish individual parts on the thing when you see it in the flesh — just like looking at a stealth fighter, your brain can’t compute fast enough to take in all the deliciousness in a logical fashion.

In any case, not much info is available on this bike, so here are a few photos…
