Off-road training for young novices in the BMW Motorrad Enduropark in
Hechlingen, Germany.
This motorcycling season, the BMW Motorrad Enduropark in
Hechlingen, Germany is offering a very special holiday pleasure on two wheels.
Youngsters between the ages of 10 and 17 without motorcycle
riding experience will be able to learn how to ride an off-road motorcycle for themselves.
The off-road motorcycle
training area in the Altmühltal conservation area offers a trial training
event specifically for young novices. Experienced instructors will
familiarize
the youngsters with the basics of motorcycling.
The syllabus covers the correct seating position and various riding
maneuvers, such as braking, U-turns and pulling away on off-road terrain.
The groups are kept small, with only four motorcycles per team,
and the young
participants will be provided with special trials bikes with a 710 mm seat
height during the half-day training course.
And there's something for the moms and dads also: while
their teenagers gather their first motorcycling experience, the parents will be able
to treat themselves to an off-road rider safety training as part of the BMW Enduropark rider training program.
The half-day training course for young novices costs on 50
euros, including the use of the trials bike. The participants must bring
their own protective clothing (safety helmet, boots, gloves, suit with
protectors).
