We tried using the Meguiar's Extra All Surface Cleaner to clean the grease
and oily residue that collects on the outside of aluminum engine casings.
It isn't apparent to us that the product works any better than "Formula 409"
or other household cleaners and degreasers.
It's our opinion that the best
products to clean engine casing grease are the powerful citrus-based
cleaners like Stoner's Tarminator,
Mr. Moto Blast Off or
PJ1 Super Cleaner, which instantly
dissolve some of the toughest residue.
