October 17, 2014 – I stopped by the Motonation booth to see what was up and discovered these new Sidi boots for 2015.

The $325.00 list price Sidi All Road boots will replace the very popular Sidi On Road boots (review) that have been in the lineup for many years.

I was immediately impressed by how light weight the All Road boots are. I didn’t have a scale, but they felt very light.

The sides of the boots are made from what appears to be a tough Cordura-like fabric.

All the standard Sidi protection is there, including the ankle inserts. The All Road boots also have a Gore-Tex membrane, which makes them guaranteed waterproof yet breathable.

I’m looking forward to reviewing a pair of these; they should be a perfect match for riding the2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS (Blog).

Also new for 2015 are the Sidi Black Rain boots (photos below) at $250.00 list, which will be available in black and black with high-viz yellow accents. They will replace the also-popular Sidi Rain boots that likewise have been around forever.

Replacing two very popular best-sellers is tricky, especially when the replacements are significantly different. But both of these boots look the part and will be giving them the full treatment in an upcoming webBikeWorld review when the production boots are ready sometime after the beginning of the new year.
