Ducati and Suomy Announce Riders for Health Motorcycle Helmet

Ducati and Suomy are collaborating on a project to support the Riders for Health charity with a special, limited edition motorcycle helmet.

The Suomy Vandal helmet was designed to celebrate the 2006 World Superbike Championship victory of Troy Bayliss.

The first helmet, called the Suomy Vandal number “Zero” will be signed directly by Troy Bayliss during the EICMA exhibition and it will then be on display in the Ducati Museum.

The limited edition Suomy Vandal costs 529.00 Euro (~$685.00) and a portion of the amount will be donated to the to Riders for Health association.  Everyone who purchases a helmet will also receive a complimentary T-shirt, one of the Troy Bayliss victory T-shirts that the Ducati Corse staff made especially for Troy to ride on his victory lap at the Imola race track in 2006.

About Riders for Health
Riders for Health have worked for over 15 years on the problem of delivery systems for healthcare in Africa.  They work with ministries of health, UN agencies and other organizations.

Their main resource center is in the UK while their program staff are all nationals of the countries in which they work.
