Show Schedule Announced for 2007 - 2008 Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows

Santa Ana, Calif. (August 14, 2007) – Advanstar Communications – a leading provider of integrated media solutions to the automotive aftermarket, off-road, and powersports industries, today announced the launch of its redesigned Web site for the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota, www.motorcycleshows.com.

The new site now features video allowing users to keep up-to-date all year round on all the latest show and industry news. Discount tickets are NOW available online at the lowest price available for the 13-city nationwide show series.

In addition to its updated user-friendly design, the newly expanded site will house interactive video clips, news, product information, more in depth coverage of the shows and exciting monthly columns that take visitors behind the scenes in and around the industry. 

The site will also continue to include complete event and exhibitor information for each of the 13 shows.  Lastly, it will offer users “register to win” opportunities for exciting prizes and house an online media center with press releases and a press credential request form to help assist the media in their coverage of the 13 shows.

Q: What's the official title of the show?
A: The Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota.

Q: How many cities does the show hit?
A: The show hits 13 cities nationwide, all being large markets for motorcycle enthusiasts, including: Phoenix, Houston, Fort Worth, San Mateo, Seattle, Long Beach, New York, Novi, Washington DC, Atlanta, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Chicago.

Q: When does the show run?
A: The show begins in October and runs through February of the following year, stopping for three days in each city. Dates, times and locations may change from year to year — check the website for the latest.

Q: Which manufacturers are at the show?
A: In 2007, we have 17 major manufacturers at the show, including: Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Piaggio, Star, Suzuki, Ural, Vespa, Victory and Yamaha. There are also local manufacturers, custom bikes, various vintage clubs and so much more for the whole family to experience.

Q: Which types of bikes & apparel can be found at the show?
A: Each stop showcases the latest street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, ATVs, personal watercraft and all the apparel to complete your motorcycle experience.

Q: What is there to do at the show?
A: Our shows are for everyone. There's so much for enthusiasts, curiosity-seekers and families to see and experience. Children can come, see the hottest new bikes and climb all over them. Potential motorcycle buyers can sit on and compare various bikes from different companies and get questions answered. Attractions also include the thrilling BOSS Stunt Show and various giveaways for attendees to win valuable prizes.

Q: How long should I expect to stay at the show?
A: Time will vary depending on what you are looking to experience. In addition to the 17 major manufacturers having their entire 2007 line-up, there are many other vendors that have the latest in apparel, helmets, boots and various other amenities that are useful to motorcyclists.

Q: Are there food and beverages at the show?
A: Yes, there are food & drink vendors at every venue. The food and drinks vary from show to show and there is alcohol for show-goers that are 21 & over, with proper ID.

Q: Will there be celebrities at the show?
A: Many celebrities are into motorcycling. We do have celebrities show up from time to time to various shows, often unexpectedly. We look at it as a testament to the industry and all that our show has to offer for enthusiasts. Recent celebrities that have attended one of our shows include: Matt LeBlanc, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Harry Connick, Jr.

Q: How's the Motorcycle Industry doing?
A: According to the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), the industry has just seen its 14th straight year of growth. We look at our show as a precursor for the upcoming sales season, where people can begin to find what they want for the upcoming season.
